Provides research mentoring to early career investigators who aspire to become independent investigators; assists investigators in gaining skills necessary for successful extramural grant applications
A series of practical small group tutorials help students develop their original research proposals into IRB-approved grant applications. Through this process, students actively acquire practical skills necessary to conduct clinical translational research.
The goal of the Research Development Workshop is to guide investigators new to research in the development of their Specific Aims for a grant funding application. Investigators will also be prepared to apply for other SYNERGY educational and career development opportunities.
The SYNERGY 2018 Clinical Research Fellowship Program is a mechanism to support and nurture clinician-investigators who have a passion to develop their research careers, by giving them one day per week of protected time in which to conduct research.
