Todd Mackenzie
Dr. Todd MacKenzie is Professor of Biomedical Data Science at Dartmouth and leads SYNERGY’s Biostatistics and Analytics Service Center (BASiC). His research focuses on the advancement of translational research through statistical innovation and collaboration.
Dr. MacKenzie applies statistics to facilitate health sciences research across a broad spectrum of disciplines and specialties, spanning the design of studies, analysis, and interpretation of findings. He has expertise in comparative effectiveness, clinical trials, association studies, and prediction modeling, with particular interests in survival analysis and causal inference. His work has been reported in more than 300 peer-reviewed publications, reflecting his extensive collaborations and contributions to the biomedical community.
Ruchir Goswami
Ruchir Goswami serves as Project Manager for SYNERGY’s Biostatistics and Analytics Service Center (BASiC), providing operational support and coordinating day-to-day administrative activities. He helps ensure smooth project management, investigator engagement, and the effective delivery of biostatistical support across SYNERGY. Ruchir holds a Master of Public Health (MPH) from the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai in New York, and brings a strong background in public health, program operations, and research administration to the team.
Sarah Palmer-DeClara
Sarah Palmer-DeClara is a Senior Research Analyst at SYNERGY’s Biostatistics and Analytics Service Center (BASiC), where she provides biostatistical support to researchers at all stages. She holds an MPH in Epidemiology and Biostatistics and is a PhD candidate at CUNY. Before joining SYNERGY, Sarah was a biostatistician for the World Trade Center Health Program at Northwell. She manages complex healthcare datasets, conducts statistical analyses, and assists researchers in designing studies. Her research interests include intersectional inequities in birth outcomes, quasi-experimental methods, and multilevel modeling.
