Epic Cosmos is a shared, de-identified dataset built from the Epic EHR, combining billions of clinical data points - diagnoses, medications, lab results and social determinants of health - from millions of patients and over 300 million records into an integrated dataset used for evidence-based research and individualized patient care. Cosmos is contractually governed by Epic's 'Rules of the Road.
